    EVERY CHILD MATTERS

The phrase “Every Child Matters” comes from a Canadian movement addressing the trauma and inequality Indigenous children faced in residential schools.

It began with the story of Phyllis Webstad, whose new orange shirt was taken on her first day - a symbol of the loss of culture and identity.

Observed on September 30th, Orange Shirt Day raises awareness, honors survivors and families, and reminds us that every child deserves respect, dignity, and opportunity.

Wear with purpose. Stand for protection. Give with heart

This is more than a phrase - it's a call to action. At Empower Native Voice, we are proud to support Indigenous children and communities through meaningful giving and awareness.

We’ve donated $1,500 to NICWA - an organization dedicated to protecting Native children and preserving their cultural roots.

By purchasing from this collection, you’re helping to:

    • Support Indigenous-led efforts
    • Raise awareness of ongoing injustices
    • Share a mass

Some items in this collection donate 100% of profits to Native youth programs.

Every child matters - and every voice deserves to be heard.

Together in Orange: Honoring Every Child

A simple orange shirt carries a powerful message of truth, healing, and hope.

On September 30th - Orange Shirt Day, we wear orange to honor Indigenous children taken from their families and placed in residential schools. The shirt symbolizes loss of culture and identity, but also the strength and spirit of survivors.

This movement is about remembrance, solidarity, and reconciliation. By wearing orange, you stand with a growing call for justice - because every child deserves to be seen, heard, and loved. 🧡 Every Child Matters.

The Share Your Voice campaign aims to raise awareness about MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women) and provide a platform for individuals to share their stories, inspiring collective action.

Through both social media and on-the-ground efforts like distributing informational flyers, we strive to bring visibility to the crisis, amplify silenced voices, and support the search for missing Indigenous women and girls.

Every shared hashtag #ShareYourVoice and every flyer handed out contributes to raising awareness, spreading vital information, and offering renewed hope to families still searching for their loved ones.

    Support from the community

#ShareYourVoice campaign is a powerful effort to raise awareness about the issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women (MMIW). The images in this photo reflect the active participation of the community, from protests to exhibitions, with the goal of amplifying the voices of Indigenous victims. The photos show the unity and determination of the community through activities such as holding flyers and painting the MMIW symbol – the Red Hand, delivering a powerful message: "Look closely into these eyes" - don’t let silence continue, speak out for justice. This is a meaningful campaign created for the rights and survival of Indigenous women.
