    MMIW AWARENESS

MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women) is a humanitarian crisis highlighting the ongoing loss and injustice faced by Indigenous communities. Thousands of women and girls go missing or are murdered with little attention or action from authorities. This is not only a criminal issue, but a reflection of systemic discrimination and neglect.
MMIW is a call to protect the lives and rights of Indigenous women - through awareness, we can drive change, demand justice, and bring hope to affected families.

    Share Your Voice Campaign

The Share Your Voice campaign aims to raise awareness about MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women) and provide a platform for individuals to share their stories, inspiring collective action.

Through both social media and on-the-ground efforts like distributing informational flyers, we strive to bring visibility to the crisis, amplify silenced voices, and support the search for missing Indigenous women and girls.

Every shared hashtag #ShareYourVoice and every flyer handed out contributes to raising awareness, spreading vital information, and offering renewed hope to families still searching for their loved ones.

    Support from the community

#ShareYourVoice campaign is a powerful effort to raise awareness about the issue of missing and murdered Indigenous women (MMIW). The images in this photo reflect the active participation of the community, from protests to exhibitions, with the goal of amplifying the voices of Indigenous victims. The photos show the unity and determination of the community through activities such as holding flyers and painting the MMIW symbol – the Red Hand, delivering a powerful message: "Look closely into these eyes" - don’t let silence continue, speak out for justice. Justice For MMIW
    A much needed discussion

This book is filled with a lot of important information, stories and statistics that are not talked about nearly enough within society. Its not that long which makes it easy to go through making it a great start to someone learning journey if they’re trying to learn more about Native Americans and their history about what happened on occupied turtle island. I encourage everyone to read through to better understand what not has happened to understand the current circumstances of today.
