MMIW AWARENESS

MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women) is a serious humanitarian issue that reflects the loss and suffering of Indigenous communities, as thousands of Indigenous women and girls go missing or are murdered without sufficient attention or resolution from society and authorities. This is not just a criminal issue, but also a matter of injustice, discrimination, and lack of protection for vulnerable members of the community. MMIW is a call to action, urging everyone to pay attention to the right to life, safety, and protection of Indigenous women. Through raising awareness, we can create change, bring hope, and deliver justice for the victims and their families.

I am ashamed of history of our Indigenous peoples

I am ashamed of history of our Indigenous peoples.
I learned a lot when I spent November 14 through the 16th 2016 at Standing Rock ND.
The prayer ceremonies at sunrise were enlightening. The story of The Buffalo Calf Woman was told. Crazy Horse was from that part ofMother Earth. Listening to drumming and the laughter of children put me to sleep both nights.
