    MMIW AWARENESS

MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women) is a humanitarian crisis highlighting the ongoing loss and injustice faced by Indigenous communities. Thousands of women and girls go missing or are murdered with little attention or action from authorities. This is not only a criminal issue, but a reflection of systemic discrimination and neglect.
MMIW is a call to protect the lives and rights of Indigenous women - through awareness, we can drive change, demand justice, and bring hope to affected families.

I am ashamed of history of our Indigenous peoples

I am ashamed of history of our Indigenous peoples.
I learned a lot when I spent November 14 through the 16th 2016 at Standing Rock ND.
The prayer ceremonies at sunrise were enlightening. The story of The Buffalo Calf Woman was told. Crazy Horse was from that part ofMother Earth. Listening to drumming and the laughter of children put me to sleep both nights.
