OUR VISION

Our mission

We hope to enhance a world where Native American communities are thriving, their voices are honored, and their cultures are celebrated. A world where Indigenous women and girls live free from violence, their lives protected and valued. Where the wounds of historical injustice begin to heal, replaced by a future of equity, reconciliation, and boundless opportunity.

Empower Native Voices amplifies Indigenous stories, advocates for justice, and fosters healing within Indigenous communities, focusing on ending the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) crisis.

Respecting and Protecting Native Cultural Heritage: We prioritize protecting and respecting Native cultural heritage, preserving values, traditions, and languages as a moral obligation.

Fighting for Justice and Equality: We relentlessly pursue justice and equality for Native people, facing any challenge to ensure fair and respectful treatment for all.

Creating a Brighter Future: We are dedicated to fostering development and prosperity for Native people, seeking opportunities, encouraging growth, and ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all Native Americans.

Connecting Communities: Build a strong support network connecting individuals and organizations to share knowledge, resources, and support in the fight against MMIW and for Native American rights.

Promoting Innovation: Use initiatives like Takenote to foster new approaches and encourage change through art, culture, and education.

Education and Awareness: Educate the public on Native American challenges, especially MMIW victims, through events, materials, and social media to foster understanding and prompt action.

Community Engagement: Encourage community involvement through campaigns, events, and programs, empowering the community to support victims and their families.

Advocacy and Collaboration: Advocate for policy and legal changes to protect Native American rights and address the MMIW issue, engaging with legislators and public forums to ensure Native voices are heard.
